Exhibition Opportunity

The Columbus Park community galleries, located in a historical neighborhood just east of the City Market, and Art in Columbus Park, are seeking submissions from emerging and yet-to-emerge artists.

Up to 5 galleries and restaurants currently participate in this monthly crawl. This is our fifth year! Exhibit and sell your work in Columbus Park galleries and restaurants. Our season runs from April to December.

Some of the galleries are seeking artists to participate in a one night only exhibition and opening reception on the 3rd Friday of the month from 6:00–10:00 p.m. Other galleries are seeking artists who are willing to have artwork exhibited and for sale for at least one month. Many venues can accommodate more than one artist at a time. In those cases, there will be an obvious theme between artists' works, or the artists can submit their works to be exhibited together.

In an effort to promote emerging artists, gallery commission rates are very reasonable. Some are commission-free.

If interested in being considered for a 2007 show in the Columbus Park venues, please email two to three representative image files of your work, or a URL, and an artist statement to us.

Submissions for 2008 will be considered if you want to work toward a major show.
