Map and directions to the galleries

Proceed north on I-35 to the downtown loop.

As you approach downtown, move into the far left lane.

The signs indicate I-35 North to Des Moines.
Stay in the left lane as you round the loop.

Watch for signs for I-35 North.
The left lane merges onto the north side of the loop, heading east.

Stay in the right lane.
Watch for the exit marked "9 Highway/Oak Street".

Proceed up the right lane of the ramp.
At the top of the ramp, turn to the left onto 6th Street.

Stay in the center lane.
Proceed east on 6th Street until 6th Street stops at Charlotte. A Comfort Inn will be on your right.

At the stop sign at Charlotte, turn left.

Proceed under the bridge to the stop light at Independence Avenue.
Proceed straight through the intersection.

Drive two blocks to Missouri Street and turn right.

Drive three short blocks to Gillis.

From southern Jackson County, Grandview, and Lee's Summit areas:
- Take 71 Highway north to downtown Kansas City.
- As you approach downtown, move into the second lane on the right.
- Watch for the sign for I-29/71 North and use that lane.
- As the lane merges, move to the right lane.
- The next exit on the right is marked 24 Highway/To 9 Highway.
- Take that exit.
- At the top of the ramp, either lane may turn left.
- Turn left at the top of the ramp and cross the bridge.
- Move into the right lane.
- At the stop light, turn right onto Charlotte.
- Proceed under the bridge to the stop light at Independence Avenue.
- Proceed straight through the intersection.
- Drive two blocks to Missouri Street and turn right.
- Drive three short blocks to Gillis.
- Parking is available on the streets.

From Independence and Blue Springs areas:
- Take I-70 west to downtown Kansas City.
- As you approach downtown, move into the right lane.
- Use the exit marked I-29 North/71 North/I-35 North.
- Pass the 11th Street exit and move into the right lane.
- The next exit on the right is marked 24 Highway/To 9 Highway.
- Take that exit.
- At the top of the ramp, use either lane to turn left.
- Move into the right lane.
- At the stop light, turn right onto Charlotte.
- Proceed under the bridge to the stop light at Independence Avenue.
- Proceed straight through the intersection.
- Drive two blocks to Missouri Street and turn right.
- Drive three short blocks to Gillis.
- Parking is available on the streets.

From Kansas City, Kansas and western suburbs:
- Take I-70 east to downtown Kansas City.
- Cross the Lewis and Clark viaduct to the north side of the downtown loop.
- Move into the right lane as you enter the loop.
- Follow the exit on the right marked 9 Highway North/Oak Street.
- Take that exit.
- Proceed up the right lane of the ramp.
- At the top of the ramp, turn to the left onto 6th Street.
- Stay in the center lane.
- Proceed east on 6th Street until 6th Street stops at Charlotte. A Comfort Inn will be on your right.
- At the stop sign at Charlotte, turn left.
- Proceed under the bridge to the stop light at Independence Avenue.
- Proceed straight through the intersection.

From north of the river:
- Take 9 Highway to North Kansas City.
- Proceed south on 9 Highway/Burlington Avenue through North Kansas City.
- 9 Highway crosses the Missouri River into downtown Kansas City.
- As you approach the end of the bridge, move into the right lane.
- Take the exit marked "3rd Street."
- At the bottom of the ramp, turn left onto 3rd Street.
- Proceed under the bridge to the stop.
- Proceed straight through the intersection one short block to Holmes.
- Turn right onto Holmes.
- Drive one block to a stop. Proceed straight through the intersection.
- Drive one short block to Missouri Avenue to the stop sign. You'll see a park across the street.
- Turn left and drive four short blocks to Gillis. Parking is available on the street.
